~~ATTENTIVE~~

Paying attention to and respecting the person by giving genuine courtesy and consideration to God's Word or a person's words.

Hebrews 2:1  'Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest t any time we should let them slip.'

~~AVAILABLE~~

Willing to adjust my schedule to fit the desires of God and others.

Mark 1:17-18  'And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.  and straightway they forsook their nets and followed him.'

~~COMMITTED~~

Giving the Lord control of my life.

Psalm 37:5  'Commit thy way unto the LORD and trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.'

~~COMPASSIONATE~~

Expressing a deep feeling of love and concern for others' needs and difficulties.

1 Peter 3:8  'Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.'

~~CONFIDENT~~

What I say or do will benefit me and, more importantly others.

Philippians 4:13 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.'

~~CONSISTENT~~

Living my daily life according to God's principles.

1 Corinthians 15:58  'Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast unmovealbe, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.'

~~CONTENT~~

Accepting whatever God provides for my life.

Philippians 4:11 'Not that I speak in respect of wants; for I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.'

~~COOPERATIVE~~

Working together in unity and harmony.

Ephesians 4:3 'Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace'.

~~COURAGEOUS~~

Realizing that God has given me strength to face any trial or danger.

Deuteronomy 31:6  'Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them; for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee, He will not fail the, nor forsake thee'.

~~CREATIVE~~

Using the talents I have been given to serve the Lord.  

1 Timothy 4:14  'Neglect not the give that is in the which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.'

Make decisions based on God's perfect will.

Romans 12:2  'And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.'

~~DEPENDABLE~~

Being reliable and trustworthy 

Colossians 1:10  'That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.' 

~~DETERMINED~~

Doing all I can to accomplish my part in God's plan steqadfastly and consistentlly, not getting weary in well doing.

Hebrews 12:12-13  'Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way.' 

~~DEVOTED~~

Setting my desire and hope upon God.

Colossians 3:2  'Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth'.

~~DILLIGENCE~~

Working hard to do my best for the Lord.

Colossians 3:23  'And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men.'

~~DISCREET~~

Forming sound opinions and giving serious attention and thoughts to what you do.

Psalm 112:5  'A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.'

~~EFFICIENT~~

Making the most of every situation.

Ephesians 5:16  'Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.'

~~FAIRNESS~~

Seeing a situation from the viewpoint of each person involved.

Matthew 7:12  'Therefore all things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you even to them; for this is the law and the prophets.'

~~FAITHFUL~~

Being loyal and true to the one I serve.

Matthew 25:21  '..Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou has been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many.'

~~FEARLESS~~

Facing danger boldly with God's strength.

11 Timothy 1:7  'For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love, and of a sound mind.'

Overlooking a wrong that was done unto me.

Colossians 3:13  'Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

~~FRIENDLY~~

Desiring to know and help others.

Proverbs 18:24  'A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly; and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.'

~~GENEROUS~~

Giving to others because God has given to me.

Deuteronomy 16:17  'Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.'

~~GENTLENESS~~

Being patient and kind with others.

11 Timothy2:24  'And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient.'

~~GODLINESS~~

Changing our lives to line up with God's character.

111 John 11 '..He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.'

~~HONEST~~

Being truthful and doing what is right.

11 Corinthians 8:21  'Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.'

~~HUMBLE~~

Understanding my weaknesses and striving not to lift myself above others.

1 Peter 5:5  'Likewise, ye younger, submit yourseles unto the elder.  Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.'

~~JOYFUL~~

Being filled with the happiness of Christ.

Ephesians 5:19  'Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.'

~~JUST~~

Doing all things right, according to God's laws.

Genisis 6:9  '..Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.'

~~KINDNESS~~

Showing a loving attitude toward others.

Ephesians 4:32  'And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.'

~~LOYAL~~

Showing my commitment to a person or cause at all times.

John 15:13  'Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.'

~~MEEKNESS~~

Yielding everything I am and everything about me to God.  Total surrender.

Psalm 22:26  'The meek shall eat and be satisfied; they shall praise the Lord that seek Him; your heart shall live forever.'

~~MERCIFUL~~

Showing more kindness than justice requires.

Luke 6:36  'Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.'

~~OBEDIENCE~~

Willing to do what God requires of me.

Deuteronomy 13:4  'Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.'

~~OPTIMISTIC~~

Thinking of the best in all situations.

Romans 8:25  'But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.'

~~PATIENCE~~

Going through a difficult situation with calm endurance and not complaining or losing self-control.

Psalm 33:20  'Our soul waiteth on the Lord; for he is our help and our sheild.'

~~PEACEFUL~~

Yielding myself to the Lord for His control, for he is our peace.

Philipians 4:7  'And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.'

~~PERSEVERANCE~~

Being able to cope with stress to accomplish God's work.

Galations 6:9  'And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.'

~~PERSUASIVE~~

Helping others to understand God's point of view.

11 Timothy 2:25  'In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance tot he acknowledging of the truth.'

~~PROMPT~~

Being on time and quick to act when a request is made.

Ecclesiastes 3:1  'To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.'

~~PRUDENT~~

Seeing what is likely to happen and giving careful thought in acting and planning.

Proverbs 14:15  'The simple believeth every word; but the prudent man looketh well to his going.'

~~PURPOSEFUL~~

Knowing God's will for my life.

11 Timothy 1:9  'Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace.'

~~QUENCH NOT~~

Do not quench the Spirit of God; be ready to receive his presence in it's fullness.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 'Quench not the Spirit'.

~~RESOURCEFUL~~

Ready to take on projects that others would overlook or discard.

1 Thessalonians 4:11  'And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.'

~~RESPECTFUL~~

Honoring the authority God has placed in my life.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-13  'And we beseech you brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake.   And be at peace among yourselves.'

~~RESPONSIBLE~~

Knowing and doing what is expected of me.

Romans 14:12  'So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.'

~~SECURE~~

Feeling save because of God's protection.

Proverbs 29:25  '..whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be save.'

~~SELF-CONTROLLED~~

Ruling my own life with obedience to the Holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:22  'Abstain from all appearance of evil.'

~~SINCERE~~

Desiring to do what is right with pure motives.

Joshua 24:14  'Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt, and serve ye the Lord.'

~~SUBMISSIVE~~

Yielding myself to God's guidance through others.

Ephesians 5:21  'Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God'.

~~TACTFUL~~

Saying and doing the right thing, especially in a difficult situation.

Colossians 4:6  'Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.'

~~TEMPERATE~~

Not being extreme in any way or thing, especially with regard to feelings or appetites.

Titus 2:12  'Teaching us that, denying ungldliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world.'

~~THANKFUL~~

Expressing to God and others the ways they have show me favor or kindness.

1 Thessalonians 5:18  'In every thing give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.'

~~THOROUGH~~

Doing all that should be done to complete the job.

Ecclesiastes 9:10  'Whatsoever, they hand findeth do to, do it with all they might.'

~~THRIFTY~~

Using money wisely according to God's principles.

Proverbs 14:24  'The crown of the wise is their riches..'

~~TOLERANT~~

Being patient with the weaknesses of others.

1 Thessalonians 5:14  '...support the weak, patient toward all men.'

~~TRUTHFUL~~

Speaking what is true and accurate.

Ephesians 4:25  'Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour; for we are members one of another.'

~~UNDERSTANDING~~

The ability to know the meaning and reasoning behnd a certain situation.

Psalm 119:34  'Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law...'

~~VIRTUOUS~~

The excellence of character and lifestyle, to bring glory and honor to the One we serve, being an excellent example.

11 Peter 1:5  'And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge'.

~~WISE~~

The ability to make good judgements and wise choices.

1 Kings 3:9  'Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad.'

~~XENODOCHIAL~~

Hospitable and kindly to strangers.

 Hebrews 13:12  'Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.'

~~YIELDING~~

Surrendered and giving God total control over our lives in complete submission to Him.

 11 Chronicles 30:8   'Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers [were, but] yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.' 

~~ZEALOUS~~

Full of enthusiasim about our faith and devoted to the Lord with passion and fervor.

Titus 2:14  'Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.'
